Candy Shoppe Designs challenge

Yesterday I decided, on a whim, to play along with the latest challenge at the CSD blog. The challenge was to incorporate rain/tear drops into your page. I was inspired by the page that Snap Crackle Pop created.

I really enjoyed creating this, and the journaling kind of came out of nowhere. I guess I had stuff to get off my chest!

The things you take for granted

So yesterday was, umm, interesting. we had no electricity. All day. My computer was finally working well enough to use, and then bam! The power went out. Do you ever get the feeling that some things are just not meant to be? LOL

Today we're back, hopefully for good! I did take advantage of the power cut, however, and have a few new scrapbook layouts to show for it! Of course, the glorious sunshine we've had all week has now disappeared, so I'm waiting for some good light before I take the pictures! I guess light was just too much to ask for ;)

Time for a change

A lot of things have changed in my life recently. Inspired by the arrival of spring flowers and sunshine, I decided to revamp my blog. I want to keep my blog away from my challenge site, so that blogging feels less like 'work'.

Any bets on how long this lasts?!
